Lac du Flambeau, WI, November 20, 2019 – Today Wisconsin Native Loan Fund was awarded $400,000 from the U.S. Department of Treasury through the Native American Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund. The FY 2019 FA awardees are headquartered in 11 states, which include 23 awarded organizations. The sum of the awarded FA Grants total $12,000,000.

Lac du Flambeau, WI, September 22, 2017 – This week, Wisconsin Native Loan Fund was awarded $861,333 from the U.S. Department of Treasury through the Native American Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Funds. The FY 2017 FA awardees are headquartered in 15 states, which include 20 awarded organizations. Sum of the Awarded FA Grants total $12,964,998.

WEDC Ethnic Minority Emergency Grant
Application Open from May 18-26, 2020
To help ethnic minority-owned micro-businesses cope with the economic impact of COVID-19, the Ethnic Minority Emergency Grant Initiative is being launched with a total of $2 million to be made available to 1,000 Wisconsin micro-businesses. A business may apply for a one-time grant of $2,000 for short-term operations assistance through Wisconsin’s Collective Ethnic and Diverse Organizations. Applicants will be subject to underwriting, and grant recipients will be required to submit a report indicating how the funds were used. Applications will be accepted from May 18-26, 2020. Eligible applicants are ethnic minority-owned businesses with five or fewer full-time equivalent employees (including the owner) in the retail, service or hospitality sectors that have not received assistance through WEDC’s Small Business 20/20 Program or the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) through the federal CARES Act.

Wisconsin Native Loan Fund, Inc is a certified Native American Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) located in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin. We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization looking to better our community by providing affordable lending to Native Americans.
Through the use of generous donations we are a revolving loan fund that supports the renovations of distressed homes for people in need; we also provide down-payment assistance and debt consolidation loans.
